I was a total beginner and was amazed at how easy it was to pick up the basics from Michael’s class. It was all hand-on work, and lots of fun! I did a one-evening class this time (in Atlanta), but will be back to do a longer class!
I took the intro class in Atlanta- the 2 day class. It is fabulous! Michael is full of knowledge and is an excellent instructor. He definitely builds the skill as well as the confidence and enthusiasm of his students. I plan to return for the full week long course when my schedule allows. I highly recommend this class!
Michael is an absolute delight to learn from. The class is hands on so you get a lot of practice, and there is a heap of invaluable information throughout. I also took home 2 big books filled with helpful photos and guidance. The value for the price is excellent - 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is remotely interested in floral design!

I completed the Intro class which was fabulous. I was a novice but after the 2 nights of Intro class, I now have the confidence to build on my knowledge and continue to work on my passion of floral design. Michael is a renowned teacher with years of experience and has the ability to simplify his way of teaching and practicality. I will continue to use his books as resources and will pursue further classes in the future.
Michael has a very relaxed approachable style of teaching . I really enjoyed the variety of tasks handed to us in an environment that enhanced and encouraged creativity and was FUN! Each assignment was different and beautiful! I learned so much in a short time... it was truly delightful! Thank you Michael and I will be back!
Just left the class and I am pretty amazed by Michael’s knowledge , he makes it look simple .I have always been in love with flowers and always wanted to learn a little more , well today I had a flower 101 class and completely fell in love with it . After being an Interior Designer for over 15 years I decided to follow a life long dream of opening up my own florist! Putting the cart before the horse I rented a place with absolutely no knowledge of how or where to begin. I can across a seminar that Michael was having in Boston MA and though this would be a great place to start. I barely knew the names of flowers or what to do with them but his amazing teaching skills and the love he had for what he did made me know this was what I wanted to do. The day after I finished my training I opened my own shop. Five and a half years later I have 6 employees, 233 five star review on google and was named Best of Weddings on the Knot and Couples Choice on Wedding Wire 2023. We had a great experience! Michael is funny and taught us a lot. He provided high quality flowers. It was cold in there- bundle up. It was sortoff hard to find the class - ask for details of where to go when you register.
**Online wedding design class must be claimed within one month of class completion. Length of class is approximate and depends on class size and subjects being covered.
