Fabulous class!! I learned so much in 6 days! Michael gives you the tools and techniques needed to master floral design. My home is overflowing with flowers. So much fun!!! Attached are just a few of the arrangements I made in one afternoon!
I had no previous floral training before attending this class. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and learned a great deal. My reasons for taking the class was to discern if I could do the flowers for my daughters wedding and not be stressed out about it. I am now confident I can handle the flowers for the wedding.
Finished the 6 day course last week and had a great time! While I have some experience in floral design, I learned so much. There were a lot of different styles of arranging that I have never done before. I also got to work with flowers I have never used before like Birds of Paradise! The class was very informative as well as a lot of fun. I purchased the one day course for myself and my mom as a Mother’s Day gift to her. Mike was a great instructor and kept things light and made sure to make everyone feel included. Mom absolutely loved it and we both definitely plan to sign up for a class again.
What can I say I attended the class just as something to pass some time as a hobby but now I’m seriously considering becoming a florist. Michael Gaffney is one of the most educated and eloquent instructors I have ever met. He breaks it down so easily that I’m pretty sure a toddler could do it. He doesn’t only just educate. He also encourages his students to push their creative boundaries. The class is located in a beautiful warehouse specifically for floral, so every day you come to Class in a setting created specifically for this exact experience. He’s lovely. My fellow students are lovely. His assistant is lovely. Three days in out of the week and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the week goes. Thank you again, Michael.
